iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

Love this little kit to death. BUT..my screwdriver has broken after about 10 uses. It still works so its not technically broken but I expect better for the price. The top has started to separate from the main body of it. Theres a good 1/4 inch of separation for no reason. I checked out the warranty info and to be honest, its pretty unclear. If I cant get it replaced Ill just buy much cheaper with the understanding they probably will break and be fine with it.

I love this kit when I was working on computers and Microsystems 20+ years ago this kit would have life easier.

This tool kit allowed me to fix a major problem with my iPhone and saved me hundreds of dollars. It has everything I needed to disassemble my phone and get it back together again. I followed the tutorial on the I Fixit web site and all went well. The kit includes lots of tiny specialty tools that you most likely will not find elsewhere. Its nicely laid out in a convenient carry pouch and easy to use. My one and only negative is that the suction cup is either too small or just not powerful enough. The suction cup has to be used to pry the screen away from the phone and this was the most difficult part of the disassembly as the suction cup kept popping off without the screen budging. Kept at it for almost an hour before the screen finally separated from the phone body as it should.

Its a nice kit to fix up electronic parts. I really like the quality and dont regret buying it even at its current price. The magnetic power of the bits and the pad are very strong and it is just what I needed. I wish the extension was also magnetic because bits fall out of it, but I understand its concept. I didnt have any further issues with it so far. I would recommend others to buy it.

Too expensive if bought separately you would get more of the various tools for the same price also the organizing try isnt magnetic which I think it really should have been

If you are in any way a do it yourself person and understand what youre doing with our new-fangled technology items then this is worth the time and money. From screen replacements to simple hard drive swaps on a laptop or what might have you these are the tools you are going to need apart from maybe some type of heat sources like a hairdryer or something stronger to loosen up any adhesive that might be holding a phone screen or something down. This tool kit has everything youd pretty much need for any type of intermediate repairs or upgrades on most if not all types of devices.
