this is not the most accurate calipers but for reloading they work, I did do a little work on the caliper edges lapped a little to get what I wanted but Im picky. still using them

I was searching for a caliper that would not only be accurate for inches and mm, but also affordable. After reading several models reviews, I chose this one. The digital display is very large and easy to read. Settings convert from inches to MM with the push of a button. Auto off function if you forget to turn it off as well. With calipers fully closed, there is button to zero out the display as well, for very accurate measurements both inside and outside measurements. Replacement button batteries are readily available. My ONLY negative is the thumb wheel that operates the open and closing could be a bit tighter fit. But overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

So far so good. These feel really solid. I checked them with several feeler gauges and guitar strings and they were spot on. They give consistent readings at the tips and closer to the body. The only thing I can see not making them perfect is that the two halves of the main body covering the electronics doesn’t completely join in one small area. If I owned a shop or depended on these for my livelihood I would still use these for day to day tasks and maybe keep the high end calipers handy for critical jobs. For the hobbyist these are well worth the investment.
