> 3 dayI just got my calipers they are the first ones Ive ever purchased and I watched youtube videos and read the comments and this seemed like the one to get if you didnt have a lot of money. First thing I noticed after unboxing was that when closed the jaws give a negative number you can zero it but running it back and forth and you end up with a negative again. I also tried to expand it to the full six inches, It is not smooth and by the time you hit two inches its pretty hard to move and by three inches its difficult to move and then it gets easier to its full length. It was also a little bit dirty when I wasnt very impressed with. I thought this thing was supposed to be new.

Greater than one weekFor the money I am real pleased. It is not as accurate as the device I paid $200 for, but I also do not have to worry about breaking it. The digital readout is easy to read even in low light situations. I have measured all kinds of things but everything has been <100mm. It works.

> 3 dayAppears to be made well, from stainless steel with plastic electronics housing. Display is large and easy to read to 3.5 decimal places. Seems to be accurate returning to zero each time its closed. It comes with a calibration certificate, spare battery and a nice plastic padded case.

Greater than one weekNicely made and feels solid. The electronic readout makes it easy to determine between metric, fraction and inches.

> 3 daySimple design, easy to read display, good build quality. What more can I say? For the price, this is a no-brainer.

> 3 dayIt is so much better to actually see what the measurements are instead of my old caliper that I could only see tick marks and not the exact measurement. The older I get the better my skills are, but my close up vision worsens.

> 3 dayWorked OK for the few times I used it. Then it stayed in drawer for about 6 months.

> 3 dayafter 5 years it has suddenly stopped working. Been safe in its case the entire time. Used infrequently and very gingerly. No reason for it to stop working other than cheap electronics. Sigh

> 3 dayThis caliper is okay. Its definitely a 3 star product and not a 4 or 5 star. The case is brittle plastic and will not stand the test of time. The item I received was shipped by the seller in a small bubble envelope. The case did not survive the trip but did give its life to save the caliper. Regardless, the 30 some dollar I payed is worth it for the quality. Heres why: The plastic surrounding the digital readout has gaps where the two halves meet, a problem with the mold process certainly. The battery drawer is just barely snug enough to keep from opening and the external measurement fork that slides, slightly twists up and down. I will use this product for as long as it lasts but I will not buy another one.

> 3 dayVery well made. On par with brand names. In fact, I will dare to say that two iGaging calibers I have, the 8/200mm and this one, 6/150mm, are slightly better than Mitutoyo or Brown and Sharpe. Smoothness of movement, ergonomics/ease of use, precision and accuracy (the most accurate calipers out of 8 I own!), display/visibility, battery life (I admit it was a concern -- fortunately, not justified) -- its all there. Now these calipers are the ones that are reached for first.
