Constantly gets disconnected from wifi. Have to wait for connection to shut off lights.

Picked this up for the energy monitoring and it does just that. I wanted to know how much wattage certain appliances used on a daily basis and I think this will be perfect. They are good looking plugs and well made for what they are. Set up was pretty simple. I had a hard time getting the plug to connect at first, but that was only because the geeni app does not tell you when you have your WiFi password wrong. Why? So frustrating. But once I figured that out, it connected right up easily and pretty quickly. Set up was like pretty much any other smart device. If youve done one, you can do them all. Once set up, you have a section in the app that shows your the energy use for the given plug. Not highly detailed, but pretty good and good enough for my needs. Very happy with these, the price is outstanding, would gladly recommend!

these plugs were so easy to set up and connect to the wifi. Soon as I plugged in the devices it was detected by my home app. The shape is a bit odd as it is elongated so it is offset from the electrical outlet. Other than that they work perfectly and have no issues.

This smart plug is a great buy! I have 6 of them they are very user friendly and easy to set up. I can activate them from my phone app as well as Google home. I definitely recommend this product and would buy again!

I got this to control my outdoor patio lights, and I initially had difficulty setting it up. Frustrated, I gave up and brought it inside. About a week later I thought Id try it again, this time for an indoor light. This time it set up extremely easily. Upon hindsight, I believe the outdoor outlet was too far away from my router, because it was so easy the last time. So as long as youre close to your router, this device is awesome! I would also like to point out (as I was initially wondering), you do NOT need to have Alexa, Echo, or Google Home to use this device. All you need is wi-fi.

The outlet began to malfunction after 4 months. It was ON whether you turned it on or off. Not reliable and a bad situation when you need it off!! DO NOT PURCHASE

I had to-link smart plugs that kept dropping Wi-Fi and therefore useless. These have never dropped and monitor energy usage great

These are great -- instructions are easy to follow. I had to download the Geeni app to get them connected, but it was pretty simple to connect them to wifi and then with Alexa voice commands. Being able to set times for them to turn on/off is helpful, as is being able to use the app to turn lights on / off while travelling. So far were satisfied.

I had the older model for years that still work with the app but not with Alexa. These new ones work seamlessly with Alexa and are easy to set up.

They work great and very easy to set up with alexa.
