> 3 dayI have used these paired 12v peers connectors for years, a k when I was installing radio communication systems in fleet vehicles. I’m glad to see these have become mainstream. I uses these power ports in all my vehicles, having a stub out installed in the grill to plug in chargers or accessories. Now that these factory assembled extension cables are available, it opens up new possibilities, such an connecting to a solar panel set on the ground, rather than mounted on the roof. These heavy gauge, insulated assemblies are up to the task of this rugged handling.

> 3 dayThese are very high quality 10-foot SAE extension cables, as good or better than any Ive ordered in the past. Im using these for my motorhome, to be able to put my solar panels anywhere I need to, in order to get the best sunlight exposure. Especially useful when camping in an area with a lot of trees. Highly recommended, and well worth the asking price of around $30 for two, including a polarity reverser. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

> 3 dayI got these for my car’s trickle charger, the attached cable is very short but it luckily has this style connector so it works perfectly with these cables for a longer length. These cables are meant for solar panels so they are thicker than the 18AWG size that my trickle charger comes with, I like this because it makes the cable feel more heavy duty. The cables fit my trickle charger perfectly and also fit the adapter perfectly but for some reason they don’t fit each other very well. When you connect them to each other they fit a bit loose and disconnect fairly easily unless you loop them before connecting. I have no idea why they plug to each other loose because they do fit my other connections perfectly snug. If you need 20ft it’ll probably be better to get a single 20ft cord, for 10ft extension cables they work perfectly fine. The included adapter piece is meant to reverse polarity, I had no idea what it was for so I’m lucky that I checked before trying it. Overall the cables work perfectly fine unless you connect them to each other which is why I rated them 4 stars.

> 3 dayThese 2 conductor cables worked well but are made of a plastic that gets stiff at cooler temperatures. The ends plug into similar connectors and fit well. I got these cables to use in powering a 12 volt sprayer in the back of my ATV. I cut the cable and attached one end to the sprayer and the other to the ATV fuse box. Now I can easily unplug and remove the sprayer. These cables are expensive but work well. Part of the price is the heavier gauge wire. If you need heavy cables I would recommend these.

24-04-2025Our camper has solar built in to the roof, but we usually dont want to park it in direct sun, which means were not getting maximum solar exposure. There is a solar port on the outside however, and this cable- two ten-footers than can clip together into a 20-footer- provides a good solution to get more sun on an auxiliary panel by allowing us to stretch out 20 feet from our location.

> 3 dayGot these to extend power to the back of my Japanese mini truck to allow me to plug in various 12v equipment. The 14ga wire allows me to use the higher amperage items without worrying.

> 3 dayI am using this pair for a couple of hobby project builds, one a 12v Lifepor4 power box with an led spot on top, a lower powered COB and a set of USB ports, and a similar box with some 20v cordless tool batteries. The conductor on these looks to be CCA. That is cheaper material. But for me since run is short and 10awg is already overkill, I am not worried. These include a fuse, and SAE quick disconnect. The disconnect works fine. Insulation looks average, which is to say ok, and is quite flexible.

> 3 dayI’ve recently installed solar panels on my RV to help keep the batteries charged in the winter. But I’ve found that the cables included with the chargers tend to be way too short. So I ordered these ‘SAE Extension Cables’ to remedy the situation. These cables work great with one exception. They seem to be well made and fit perfectly on my OEM SAE solar cables. There is no drop in voltage when I use them. My only complaint, however, is that these cables are not at all pliable or bendable when they are cold. You need to make sure you store them at room temperature before you install them. It makes your job a lot easier. All in all…with the exception of the. ‘bending problem’, I’m happy with these solar power extension cables and can recommend them.
