22-11-2024I do a lot of wood working and needed a small mandrel so I bought this set. It comes with all the size mandrels you can use and plenty of discs. They easily fit my dremel and the sanding discs work great. The quality isnt as high as with true dremel mandrels but I had no trouble with these and you cant beat the price. Some reviewers had problems getting the sanding discs on the mandrel. The trick to using these is to unscrew the screw at the top. Be careful not to lose it since it is quite small. Remove the rubber from the mandrel and fit the rubber in the sanding disc. Now fit the assembled rubber and sanding disc back on the metal mandrel. It should fit perfectly. Replace the screw and tighten the screw. By tightening the screw it compresses the rubber expanding the rubber which locks the sanding disc in place. Always wear eye protection since the discs can break apart and fly off.

> 3 dayDont waste your time with these. They dont even fit the attachemnts it comes witb and flies off when you try to use them. Trash.... Update; ai had originally given these a bad review. But after doing some research I found that you just have to tight the screw at the tip when on the dremel. They tighten up and stay on. Not a bad deal, they get the job done.

> 3 dayI use these to file down my dogs’ nails as they are really tough and go through the pedipaws one so quickly it’s ridiculous. I use my Dremel and these and they work amazingly well. My dogs don’t exactly love it, but it does not hurt them, which is the most important thing. I have run it on my fingers by accident and it’s like a very mild rug burn, which is comforting since if means if I get close to the wick it doesn’t hurt them too much, mostly just annoys them. The dogs are a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix and a husky and they both have very thick, very quick growing claws.

> 3 daythese came at a good price, my only complaint is that when using the smallest size I had to add a layer of paper around the mandrel in order to get it adequately tight to hold the sanding drum during use. Other than that, they work as they should.

> 3 dayI am not impressed with these. I can not get the smaller bands to fit onto the drums for anything. I end up destroying the bands before getting them to fit. The larger bands and drums do work together, they just dont last as long as other brands. Two starts because I was able to make use of some of the bands, and can use other bands with the drums so it wasnt a total waste of money. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Greater than one weekGood price for a nice assortment. I have had some problem with the small ones unrolling after a little use.

Greater than one weekThree out of four of the large drums were too poorly made to get the sandpaper on. Even with ridiculous amounts of force they only went partially on. Also, several of the sandpaper wheels had the sandpaper peeling off, making them unusable (when you try to use those ones they batter what youre working with and peel off more). Two stars instead of one since many of the wheels were OK, and some of the drums work fine (I really dont need more than one of each size anyway).
