I’ve been hearing about the benefits of rice water shampoo, but I’m an old dog. I also wanted to ditch the big bottles of mostly water. At first, I was worried that my hair wouldn’t be as clean. It’s hard to judge how much lather you have at first. And I feel like I don’t use as much conditioner…again, it’s hard to judge how much you’re using. Well, I must be doing it right because my hair is clean and soft. It’s only been a week, but I feel like we’re going in the right direction!

I cant say this enough its definitely a great buy! It was nicely wrapped It came in two different boxes with the soap bags you see here. the bars was also wrapped in a clear wraps to preserve the product which is amazing. No sooner than I put water on my hand to bring out the frothy ness in the shampoo bar it started to work its magic.the conditioner bar was also great but I really had to work at it for the product to work but afterwards I had no issues and havent had any sense then . Ive done up to three hair washes with it already and its going great my hair is growing long and its super soft thanks to these products. I honestly cant say enough about this wonderful product . Its just lovely.

I have long, medium texture, slightly wavy hair. I typically shampoo every other day, but can go 3 days if needed. I home color with a good hair color every 6 weeks. I have just recently been shampooing with bars with Rice Water as I have been looking for more volume and assistance with losing hair. I ordered these to try because of a negative experience with Viori rice water shampoo bars. I just purchased a set of the Viori Hidden Waterfall scent shampoo and conditioner bars that many rave about and have used them 3 times following directions for long hair, and rinsing thoroughly. While the Viori bars do not lather, as reviews stated, and my hair seemed clean, when I blow it dry, I feel residue on my hands as I work my fingers through my long hair. Whatever is left behind with the Viori bars from the shampoo/conditioner makes my hair fluffier, but there is a definite residue on my hair. Having given that background, I read the few reviews on this new Ikimi Rice Shampoo product, and as it went on sale, decided to give it a try. I had just colored my hair and I wanted to see how the shampoo would leave my hair a few days after processing. First I have to say that this shampoo lathers the first time you run it over wet your hands or wet hair. It works into a nice lather and I only need to shampoo it one time to leave it feeling clean. The conditioner went on easily and when I rinsed it, my hair did not feel as if it had a residue. I then blew it dry bent over for volume as I normally do, then use a thick barrel curling brush to smooth out the waves on the length. It was soft and voluminous. And no residue! The bars are very wide and flatter than other bars, which means that after you use a few weeks, they are more likely to break into small pieces. Having said that, Ikimi provides 2 lovely mesh shampoo lathering bags with hanging strings to keep them dry, so if you use them to wet and lather your hair, it doesnt matter if the soap/conditioner breaks, you can simply lather up running the wet bag over your scalp and hair using the bag to hold the chards. I just find the large flat bars a bit difficult to work with in the shower. But dont let that deter you from trying them. I will update my review as I use them several more times. Continuation - have shampooed with these bars 4 times. The second time I shampooed with it, I noticed some breakage as my hair seemed dryer the second time, but I used a good leave in conditioner, and my hair was still full and shiny. The third time, I noticed that my scalp had begun itching, but my hair was still shiny and full after using the leave in conditioner. Fourth time, when I went to brush my hair, I noticed flakes, and oh gosh, when I checked my scalp, it had large sections with huge flakes of my scalp peeling off. I am either having an allergic reaction or I need to use it less often as a clarifying shampoo. I have had to downgrade my review because of my reaction to the shampoo, but if your skin is not sensitive and you have an oily scalp, this shampoo does make your hair full and shiny.

Leaves my hair very soft & silky. Works up a nice lather. My hair feels clean & healthy . Excellent pouches for drying out, very convenient

With that being said it is extremely hard for me to find the right products for my fine hair I was a sceptic until now Not only do I need to wash my hair less but each time I have a healthy shine and no more tangles and best of all it isn’t a product that weighs my hair down! Thank for this wonderful product

This product has been helping my hair get back its healthy self. It smells great, and the mesh bags that the bars come with are a nice touch and helps keep it organized and more sanitary. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to try a shampoo/conditioner bar and to help get their hair back its more healthy self.
