They are easy to open and stay closed until you actually open them. I am filling them with soil samples which are heavy and they do not break. They solved a difficult problem for me.

> 24 hourI normally buy the spartan brand which are amazing, but I tried these since they were a little less. Now I see why they were cheaper. Big MISTAKE!! My husband & I own a high traffic rhinestone shop and it is imperative to have bags that seal so the stones dont mix and spill out when the customer receives their order. A lot of customers leave their stones in the bags for storing, but there is no way to do this without the fear of a mess. All I will say is you get what you pay for and stick with what you know. I would have given 2 stars, but decided on 1 because I read that this has been an issue for years and to have a company not address a MAJOR issue over this length of time is negligent and selfish in my opinion so 1 star it is. Dont buy these if you want your bags to close. Go to the Spartan brand. They have all sizes and they ALL close.
