Great door locks, we originally purchased them when we were expecting our first child a year ago and ended up using them before the child needed childproofing. They work well to keep our cat from opening doors. Currently, the baby is now 1 year old and still cant reach to open doors but they will be helpful when she reaches that stage.

easy to place, and use but my 2 year old is the hulk at 7 am so he just ripped them off (they were on the outside of his door) by tugging on the door handle so hard. on the second lever lock casualty we bought a lock that screwed into the top of the door and slides side to side to unlock and lock so look that up if your kid is like ours. these are good though, for our pantry and bedroom doors, also the water heater closet door (doors he doesnt try to access daily)

If your toddler is like mine, they pull down on the handle instead of up. We figured out that putting them on upside down prevented him from getting through the doors and made life much easier when we used the doors!

I love it! Works great to keep my daughter from opening doors. I would strongly recommend to put the plastic thing that moves up and down, to the top though.

It only takes a few seconds to install

It did the job of keeping my toddler out places. Easy to install and it doesnt seem like its cheap material. But if you have painted doors its very easy knock the product off which peels the paint from the door. I wish I would come with replacement adhesive so that I could reinstall the product without having to throw it away and use another one. Seems like such a waste.

One of my cats can open doors all through the house. So it was getting rather annoying trying to find ways to keep my cats out of our pantry, or random places they didnt want to be. We started looking into child proofing our apartment, and we dont even have children. Just demon fur babies. Anyway, we ordered these and they are amazing!! At first I was worried that we were gonna accidentally lock ourselves out of our bedroom. Luckily, each item comes with an attachable top, so we just put them up without it. Love this product! I have 3 put up around the apt and they hold rather well. When I was first testing them out, I was able to pop it off and reattach it without any problems. As far as the other review stating how it takes off the paint, that Im not so sure about. I guess Ill see whenever I move. Anyway, great product!! And the Image shown is product without its attachable piece (they came with it, but I just didnt use it)

These work great! So easy to install and easy to lock and unlock. Strong adhesive. I would highly recommend if you have these style doorknobs in your house.

Adhesion is very strong and built to last. Just installed these tonight and discovered something I didnt consider. If the locked portion is engaged, you cannot open a door from the inside of a room. My daughter likes to play in her room to get some relief from her rambunctious toddler brother. She will have to lock her bedroom door otherwise if the childproof lock is engaged she would not be able to get out of her room without someone unlocking the childproof lock. We may have to look for alternative options. Otherwise very pleased with the product.
