> 24 houreasy to place, and use but my 2 year old is the hulk at 7 am so he just ripped them off (they were on the outside of his door) by tugging on the door handle so hard. on the second lever lock casualty we bought a lock that screwed into the top of the door and slides side to side to unlock and lock so look that up if your kid is like ours. these are good though, for our pantry and bedroom doors, also the water heater closet door (doors he doesnt try to access daily)

ONE HAND OPERATION:
Requires an adult to push the release button on both sides of the lever. This can easily be done with just one hand. A toddler"s hand isn"t as big as yours and he or she will not open the lock. This is a big improvement over other lock designs sold on the market. Those only require a single button to be pushed. Clever toddlers and small children can push the single button and open the door. Most kids can"t open our 2-button design.
