When it works properly on fabric/vinyl, it is great and you can punch a bunch of holes. Most of the time, it doesnt completely punch the hole and cleaning out the tip doesnt usually help. It is like the metal parts arent fitting completely and it grinds when you punch. Makes it hard work.

Are use this tool all the time and just bought five for each of my staff we all love it ~ very handy it last a good long time

Does not home punch very well

It worked so-so the first time I used it but then the next day I couldn’t get it to work at all. Clunky assembly. Instructions are in a foreign language. I was unimpressed so I shipped it back.

Unfortunately I did not try this out quickly before the warranty ran out or return date. The first time I used it the center area thats supposed to rotate on the spring broke or jammed. It just went up inside the wood handle it and wouldnt come out. Tried everything to fix it. Total junk Definitely avoid.

I was a little skeptical at first, but it will work its way through several layers of vinyl and fabric. When it arrived, it didnt work very well because it was stiff and a bit sticky. A light shot of WD40 fixed that and it works like a charm!

Worked for a few months, but now is sticky and bits are dull.

I bought two types to check out all my options and I can say this is by far THE BEST one out there. Its so easy to use, I let me 5 year old help me out sometimes. It comes with several different whole sizes, I would consider getting a container to store it all together so you dont loose the small parts.

This was the perfect option for different sized holes that I needed for a card stock lacing activity. When it worked properly, it was great. Unfortunately, the paper holes get jammed up in the tip and you have to stop, take off the tip and stick a small screwdriver into the tip and exert a great deal of force to push out the paper hole pieces. It’s hard on the joints and wasn’t efficient for me.

I bought this punch to make holes in text weight and cover weight paper for bookmaking. I returned it for a refund because it did not punch through even one sheet of paper without repeated punchings that inevitably became out of line with one another. When it finally did punch a hole, the paper got stuck in the bit, so I had to take it apart and dig out the paper bits with a paper clip. If there are special instructions for any of this, I cannot know because all the writing is in Japanese. I can read five languages, including Chinese, but Japanese is not in my repertoire! I cannot recommend this product.
