> 24 hourNowadays you pulled POE cables everywhere, but what if you just need a USB powered device along your POE, lets say and the top of the ceiling where no electrician help you pulled power. I tried this adapter to convert POE power from switch to USB power, and it work extremely well. My nest camera now can aligned on anywhere without power cable (I have network cable everywhere) .

> 24 hourFantastic little device for getting PoE to non powered devices. My only suggestion would be that Ubiquiti makes it more like typical PoE strippers and provides dual Ethernet ports and USB power out. My use case is to provide remote reset to a Hue Hub and while this works great because I can toggle PoE power from the switch to this device I need to use two ports to connect and power the Hue Hub. This is acceptable to me but a Ethernet without PoE output would make this perfect.

> 24 hourJust moved into a new construction home and want to install 6+ nest cameras. Don’t love the idea of having to run multiple electric hookups to the outdoor of the home. Instead, will run Ethernet, hookup to a PoE switch in my network closet and then install these in the attic to convert the PoE Ethernet into powered USB to run the cams. Later most devices will most likely settle on PoE so this seems to be the best solution at this time. Works just as expected. Will be buying more of these.

> 24 hourThese little products are excellent, I used these to adapt POE to USB power for Nest Cameras around my home. This allowed me to not run each USB to an outlet, but into the attic to a CAT5e cable. They also allow me to reset a camera at my POE switch, which is convenient.

> 24 hourGreat for connecting case fans, webcams or other USB powered devices to your POE switch. Plug it in and it just works, no configuration necessary. Other lower priced alternatives are available and likely do the same job for less, but youre paying for the supposed quality the brand name brings. I havent had a failure with one of these to date.

> 24 hourLike other Unifi products, this thing is super well made and feels good in the hand. I have some of those cheapo no-name POE splitters too, but those are very cheaply made and feel like junk. Im using these for two Logitech Circle 2 cameras as child monitors. I was able to remove the adapter from the outlet and run everything through the wall. Im going to use another one to power my Logitech Harmony Hub. So yeah, this just works. It powers USB devices using your POE switch.

> 24 hourAnother quality product from Unifi. I use these to power ESP32s for home automation projects. Doesnt hog a power outlet and allows me to remotely cycle power if theres a problem.
