> 3 dayPSA: do not buy if you want to overclock and you plan on using Intel XTU on windows 10! Intel has dropped support for XTU on windows 10 for the 12th and 13th gen models, which i did not know at the time of purchase. Regardless, you may not even need to overclock this processor, it handles games, video editing, and large processing workloads well! I have been enjoying Intels P/E core technology a lot, my background tasks running nominally, while my games and workloads execute smoothly. Amazing processor for its price, but its definitely not the fastest. You should buy this as an in-between when building a new computer or when upgrading chipsets, etc.

> 3 dayThe best budget processor with enough horsepower to get it all done. Paired this with a Asrock B660m Steel Legend with OC on XMP and Unlock Watt and its as good as a Z690-Mobo OC. Also bought Thermaltakes CPU bracket along to fix the Lga 1700 Socket and temps are down by 10c.

Greater than one weekI have been building desktop computers for the past 22 years, and this is the first processor I have had such horrible luck getting to work. I have tried this in 3 motherboards, swapped RAM, video cards, power supplies, monitors, and HDMI cables. I have even returned and replaced the CPU. Nothing has gotten me to a POST screen, much less allowed me to access the UEFI/BIOS, until I borrowed a GT 1030, which is UEFI and Secure Boot compliant. Socket 1700 motherboards are shipping with CSM disabled and Secure Boot enabled. Unless your video card is compliant, you will not see a POST screen or a UEFI/BIOS menu.

> 3 dayThis thing is a monster. I have built many with 12900k and this i5 is a 16 thread monster, benchmark scores prove it to be as fast as my best 11900k i9, faster than my best 9900k i9 and maybe i got a lucky bin but i hit an SP of 75 overall 84 alone on P-cores! Thats higher than the average 12900k and it shows as it rocks 5.4ghz all day all p-core at 1.29v! Amazing CPU!

> 3 dayThis was my choice of processor for my build, and I dont regret the choice. I decided to forgo the usual 12400kf in favor of this and wasnt disappointed. There havent been any issues, and it stays nice and cool.

> 3 dayYou can usually find this processor for around $200 and it matches the performance of a Ryzen 7600x. Great price to performance.

> 3 dayGot sent a bad CPU that only uses about 1.8 compared to the advertised 3.7 base clock speed. Also the kf doesnt come with integrated graphics and the one that does is 10$ cheaper.
