I immediately noticed how much better my performance in games like Elden Ring and ironically modded Minecraft was. Minecraft being a single core focused game is limited to the processors single core abilities. This cpu is great for that, but its multicore work is nothing to sneeze at either as I get 60fps on elden ring at max settings with 16gb of ram and an rtx 2060.

I have built out a decent work-from-home desktop rig. This processor paired with a GIgabyte motherboard has made quite the snappy machine for me. I dont do gaming, but I do VMs and a lot of multi-tasking across multiple concurrently active profiles. Great CPU.

Leaving out all of the typical troubleshooting you would normally do with a custom build, the only real problem I had was windows selecting a balanced power profile automatically on startup after I got everything put together and running. The balanced power profile was causing the 10700kf to perform sporadically in my recording software (Studio One 5 Pro) and led to power throttling in the Intel extreme tuning utility. Deleting the balanced profile so that windows was forced to use high performance or extreme performance seemed to fix the issue. So far I havent been able to overload the cpu in any applications. Overclocked to a solid 5.0ghz. Very happy with the performance I get out of this cpu.

A better processor than the Ryzen 7 3700x. However, I used to not prefer it because of its price. But on sale, ($ 289.99) best price / performance processor to buy

I like this CPU for it was so fast at the time as a medium gamer. I dont understand at first the letter code after the model name that this CPU can be overclocked. Im not a heavy gamer so I does not bother me but maybe in the future Ill give it a try.

Who needs the iGPU? Got this chip for $290 on a Black Friday sale and couldnt be more happy with my purchase. at that price, it pretty much shreds anything else on the market. Pairs well with my RTX 3090.

I build my own systems, and have now for about 20 years. If you havent yet, and are about to, welcome aboard what will be a very satisfying hobby/job. The last two were Intel builds, my previous being an i7 4790. Yeah, seven years ago. I had some money, and a wife who agreed the upgrade was necessary, and off we went. So good to meet the UPS man at the door, or in the front yard for several days in a row. Neighbors were jealous. It was just as much as a blink of yer eyes worth of effort to install this CPU. It really felt weighty and substantial in the figglers. The build went off without a hitch, and shes running now. Before, the Bluestacks launch would take about 30 seconds to load. Now???? Its done in about 5.8 seconds! Thats fast! I see the differences in speed on several fronts, and its very nice to command. Thank you, Intel, for another winner in the CPU dept.

Great product overall, does what it supposed to. Speaking of what it does, it does NOT support internal graphics, better of buying i7 10700k if you are not planning to use dedicated graphics card.
