> 24 hourI preordered this cpu and got it on the release day, coming from the 4th gen i7 4790k its a huge leap, its a great processor and handles everything I have thrown at it extremely well while only getting 70C max with an average of 64C while gaming. Best yet, it has PCI-E 4.0 Support and I gained an extra 20-30 frames with my RTX 3080 in Modern Warfare (average of ~160 fps with everything on ultra and ray tracing on). Highly recommended for an upgrade.

> 24 hourIn some benchmarks it runs just as well as a ryzen 5800x. well...the downside is the temperature.

> 24 hourGot mine off B&H, but that doesn’t matter anyways. Too bad I bought mine for like $450 on release day, lol. This CPU is very solid, but keep in mind that this thing is 10nm core architecture backported to 14nm. That is what I like to call DISASTER! This is just a 10700K but with a better iGPU. Good processor, but not worth the price tag.

> 24 hourWhen rebuilding my failed desktop computer I had to buy a new motherboard which would not accomodate my previous CPU chip. I researched an i9 core but it really wasnt faster enough to spend the extra cash on one.

> 24 hourI bought the 11700k for my gaming rig. With water cooling I’ve got it overclocked to 4.7ghz on all cores. Totally stable and never gets hotter than 60*C. With my 1080 ti it runs all games I’ve played on max settings with a minimum of 80fps at 2k ultrawide, and much higher for most games. Including Cyberpunk and Assassins Creed Valhalla.

> 24 hourCant go wrong buying intel for video editing. Has graphics which AMD does not so for many business and office programs you dont need a graphics card. No USB issues like one can have with AMD.
