Uprgraded from an i7-7700k; games run even smoother, my cooler I is dark rock 4 the only game that runs a bit hot for me is BFV 75C to 80C everything else ran pretty average temps tho

I loved it way better than an I5. I got it on sale when it was $150.00 less. Best thing I bought for my computer so far.

This is a great chip. Overclocked to 5ghz on all cores and runs smooth as butter.

Replaced my 6700 (non k). Its an absolute beast. OC at stable 5Ghz with 1.30v. Heard it runs hot. Did some research and decided to use a be quiet dark rock 4 air cooler ! The DR4 is rated at 200TdP. Anyway it works well even on aida64. All core OC and doesn’t go beyond 78C. Running it on MSI MPG Z390M gaming edge AC. (mATX). So far it’s all good!! No more CPU bottleneck in games! Would recommend this over the 9900k for gaming as that runs super HOT based on YouTuber tests. Happy camper!

i was thinking of getting i9-9900k but this is more stable and built for gaming.
