Excellent processor, i used to have I7 and it really big difference, much faster and smooth

I went with this for my new 2022 build because I know how fast these things can actually go. Without an OC this runs plenty fast for me and the things I do for work. It does run hotter than most CPUs but this is expected so make sure you have a good cooler. Very fast!

The processor is amazing. Upgraded from an Intel 8700k. Paired it with 6400 mhz DDR5 memory on a AsRock z690 Taichi motherboard and my Nvidia EVGA 3080Ti and Im consistently in the top 5% of benchmarks world-wide with barely any tweeks except selecting the XMP profile in my bios. Blows away anything currently AMD is offering in the same price range.

Ive put together a few systems and run some retail 12900k chips so far and the 12900k is by far an amazingly fast CPU.

High price, but high performance. Great processor but needs a serious cooler otherwise it will thermal cutback and slow down.
