Greater than one weekThe polka dots are nice and vivid colors. It felt sturdy and easy to hold. This WAS going to be a late Aug. birthday gift for my mother who loves umbrellas. The umbrella shaft is bent and it doesn’t click back easily into place when pulled down. I’ll be sending it back sooo I’m bummed and WITHOUT A GIFT!!!

> 3 dayUnfortunately this umbrella broke after only a few months. I was having trouble opening it and something snapped. Attached is a picture of the broken piece. Also, I found the fact that it was inside out to be more of a gimmick and not practical. It makes the umbrella longer and after being used it doesn’t dry out since the wet part isn’t exposed.

> 3 dayI’ve only used it once since I’ve gotten it, but so far so good. As an umbrella, it’s very durable and does exactly what it says it does. My good surprises were that the umbrella stands. I didn’t pay attention to this in the description as I was just in need for an umbrella, but when it is unstrapped and you’re trying to dry it out, it stands up independently without having to lean it against something. My other great surprise is that the umbrella sleeve has a long strap on it. This strap easily fits over me like a cross body for those days when my hands are full and I need to take the umbrella with me so it could be completely hands free. Oh, and the flower on the inside/outside is beautiful. I think it was a great purchase.

> 3 dayThe idea behind the inverted umbrella is clever and appealing. However, it does not work well. While it is true that you do not get wet when you close the umbrella, it is also true that you do get wet in your car because the closed and wet inverted umbrella is quite voluminous. Before you can put it somewhere else, it is between your knees and the stearing wheel where the space is narrow. It drips on you.

> 3 dayWhile this is a sturdy and lovely umbrella, it does not fold up to a manageable size. I can carry it in the car but I am disappointed that it cannot be conveniently carried wherever I go and not be in my way. In that , I am disappointed

> 3 dayI love the fabric but poor quality. I excitedly open the box only to find the umbrella did not open properly. The first 6 or 7 tries it would only open with the tips pointed to the sky. I finally got it to open correctly only to see a flap of fabric hanging down loosely. One of the tips had no attachment to the arm of the umbrella. Disappointing. Never even made it out of the house. Packed it up for return the same day.

> 3 dayFirst, this item was purchased as a Christmas gift. I was going to leave it in the corrugated box and cover it with holiday wrapping but was prompted to open the contents, as the seller emailed me for my opinion about the product. The couple who will receive this reverse umbrella will use it for shielding against the rain, so the Sun Protection category was not completed. Also, the durability factor cannot be determined as of this writing as this umbrella has not yet been put to the test by the recipients over a duration of time. Be that as it may, my first impressions are: 1) it seems to be well-constructed, 2) it effortlessly locks into the open position very smoothly and quietly without the click one would normally hear with a conventional umbrella and 3) the open C handle will make it convenient for my friends wife if she uses the umbrella and needs to hang her purse on the handle. Shipping was very expeditious as I am not in one of the lower 48 states. Based upon the online reviews, I was going to buy two when placing my Amazon order but encountered a cap of one per customer.
