Invisalign Aligners case, Black

Replacement case, just received, but looks well made.

I didn’t actually know I needed this product until I saw it on here. It’s very slim and sleek, actually looks good and fits my retainers perfectly. It’s also very easy to disinfect, and it’s hard plastic so for travel, I’m not worried that it’ll get squished in my bag and break those very expensive pieces of plastic. The magnet is also very strong and keeps it closed super well. It stays shut and it even takes me a second to find the lip and open it, so I’m not worried about it falling and opening or anything like that. I like they have other designs, though I got the simple black with blue interior. Highly recommend, even if you have regular retainers!

I wanted some extra trays for leaving in different places (purse, Rv etc) so I wouldn’t be caught out and use a paper towel and end up loosing them. The one downside to these cases (same as original one) is nothing makes them stay shut. So couple times I’ve put the case in my pocket and it leaks and the trays can pop out. Just be aware of that if you plan to put in pocket or purse and you trays are not perfectly dry you may have leakage.

I keep this one in my backpack for travel!

At first I really enjoyed this for my retainer. It looked nicer and cleaner than the plastic one I received when I was a teenager but after some traveling I realized it is awful for transportation. Before I put my retainer back in my case I always rinse it out so it’s never completely dry. But I always shake it before I put it in my case. And that liquid always seeps through my container so not great for traveling.

Its a case for Invisalign aligners, and until I lost it, I didnt really pay much attention to it. For someone with invisalign it is an essential part of my day- for every meal etc. After 6 months, I lost the original one my orthodontist gave in my welcome to invisalign kit. He gave me a replacement at my visit, but it was very bulky and not-subtle. I didnt realize how slim this case was, or how nice the magnetic closure and discrete circular (vs teeth-shaped) was. I was using the (free) replacements from my orthodontist for a bit, and then I found this on amazon! I still keep the cheaper ones around (my car, my coat) and use them, but it has been worth the cost to replace this! HUGE Pro: Fit into the front pocket of jeans! Close easily with aligners and disposable floss. magnetic closure. Con: still a bit pricey for a plastic case to hold an aligner IMO, but it was worth it for me.

The case appears to be exactly the same, but the bag was a small, felt and stiff black bag. The picture online shows the original Invisalign black bag and that is NOT what came with our order. We really needed to order just the case (so we could have an extra just for the bathroom), so it worked out ok, but it is unfortunate that they substituted with something else that isn’t even the Invisalign brand. If you received the original Invisalign bag you would know that it is very nice. It is flexible and bigger, which is important because my daughter also carries her toothpaste, brush, bands and floss in the bag. The bag that was sent would only fit the case and is a waste. Just a heads up that the case seems to be original from what I can tell, but the bag is a fake. This seller just pulled the product picture from the Invisalign website. It would be worth purchasing directly from the Invisalign site if you want the correct bag and spend the extra $2.05. I am disappointed that people can sell something on Amazon and send you something different.

This product is exactly what I received when I got my starter pack from Invisalign. Same size, stays open, magnetic close etc. I wouldn’t question if it was Invisalign branded from what I received. For those saying they received larger cases I’m wondering if the you received the bitewing cases bc this case had a callout that it does not fit those sized retainers. While I wish it wasn’t priced at what it was, this is the cost on the branded website in which you also have to meet a $50 minimum or pay shipping.
