iolo System Mechanic Ultimate Defense

I had used System Mechanic in the past and was quite pleased with it so I purchased it again, I noticed that it didnt have all the features I wanted so I called Customer Support to upgrade it to this package, Ultimate Defense. The first thing they did was tryn to sell me a 3 year subscription plan at a much higher cost (in the hundreds of dollars) and when I turned that down, they then told me I would have to pay a monthly fee of $19.99 per month for Live Tech Support, even though I told them I didnt want it. This is when they told me the software is not a Stand Alone package. Well, why arent they telling you this on the advertisement here? This is a BIG change from when I first became a subscriber years ago. Back then, you just installed the software and it was good for at least a year, with discounts offered for multi-year packages. I dont think I will EVER use or recommend this product again to anyone!
