Previous charger we bought had a coiled cable which didnt adequately reach the place where the phone was mounted in the car, this cable avoids the problem. Very happy with Anker products and have gone on to buy charging cables and now an iPad keyboard case based on this experience

Sadly this item has a design fault- in their attempt to make it as compact as possible, this charger “plug” is not long enough to fit into the cigarette lighter. It doesn’t make contact with the end and therefore cannot collect power in my BMW 420. It’s therefore useless to me :(
