As seen in my photo, from outer edge to outer edge, this container is 17 wide. It is 15 from front to back, and 6 tall. It is not remotely close to 12 x 12. It is not even a square. As such, I cannot use it for my intended purpose.

Perfect for my scrapbooking projects. I especially like that the cases come out so I can work on a project and then slide it back in. Fits 12x12 paper!

These are the perfect size to store 3 spools of thread. Each box holds approximately 50 1,000 meter spools. The clear boxes makes it very easy to see which colors are in each box. Nothing was broken. Everything arrived perfect!

ITEM ARRIVED WITHOUT THE WHEELS. IT IS HEAVY AND NOW I HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE TO TAKE IT TO UPS.

My storage bin was filthy with some black dust/film and the bottom had a crack. Its functional so I am going to keep it. Just a terrible way to run biz sending out dirty items. Very disrespectful to your customers. I run a business, too, and I wouldnt dream of sending a dirty item like I received. The item itself is a good product, I would have given 5 stars if for not in the condition it arrived.

This is a nice thick plastic, with a sturdy snap close lid. Its beautifully clear, which works well for my purpose. Theres plenty of space inside and I was able to stack a second item inside as a bonus. I will look for other sizes of these if I need them in future.
