Used this for outdoor lighting

I purchased this three outlet outdoor extension cord to use for our Christmas lights. It replaced an older outdoor three outlet power stake. The spike / stake itself was beginning to fail. I wanted to use a multiple outlet power extension cord that was not necessarily on a stake. The Iron Forge three plug fan design allows the outlets to be flush with the ground and easier to mask / hide due to its lower profile. We just set up our Christmas lights using a 10 and 25 Iron Forge outdoor power extension cords. I can say that the build / construction of these power extension cords seems to be of quality. They feel rugged. I cant comment on durability and reliability since the power cords have not been used extensively. Only time will tell. My only concern is how they will hold up / perform when they are covered with snow. Not all the prongs I am using have the third grounding prong, so that is open on the Iron Forge outlet. Not sure if water / snow getting into that would cause an issue. For now, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend to others looking for another outdoor power extension cord option that provides a lower profile design.

This cord is the exact length I need. It is heavy duty and weather resistant. It is currently utilized for outside Christmas decorations and has not had an issue with moisture. It is as advertised.
