For years I have been searching for a cover that would fit my older, heavy ironing board, and with this one I finally have! Not only is this cover the right size, it is beautiful. I am so tired of boring ironing board covers. The blue flowers on this one are absolutely lovely. This ironing board cover and pad is thicker than most of the old ones Ive used. It has Velcro straps along the under side to help hold it in place. My board has X-style legs, so I have to keep one of the straps loose in order for the support to move properly, but it doesnt interfere with the way the cover works. I do quilting, and it is nice to be able to slide my larger cuts of fabric along the board without the cover bunching, shifting or wrinkling. So far, I am thrilled with how well the Memeaty Ironing Board Cover and Pad performs and would recommend it to anyone.

We have a basic ironing board from Bed, Bath, & Beyond that the cover never really fit it well enough, and was practically paper thin. This cover actually goes all the way around the board, and has nice elastic edge to give it tension. The velcro straps are simple and effective at holding the cover on, on our board they go just above and below the sliding mechanism, and dont get in the way. The padding is nice and thick. The description says that it is made out of cotton which is great because polyester could melt. I havent noticed that ironing went any faster with the coating thats supposed to help resist burns and speed up ironing, but everything else has been great.

The last ironing board cover I bought was probably 8-10 years ago. It had extra-thick padding and served us well, but was beginning to show its age and the padding had compressed on the board. This is a good replacement cover. It fits my old, standard size ironing board well. The elastic edges along with two hook and loop fasteners help to secure the edges and keep the cover smooth on the board. The thick padding is very nice, and helps the iron to glide smoothly over the garment without giving it the shiny looking marks you get from a thin pad.

I ordered this cover to replace the tattered and stained one on my ironing board that was handed down to me from my grandmother. It was a perfect fit. The only thing I have to watch is the velcro strap under the board. It gets caught when I collapse the board but no big deal. I just hold it out of the way. That may not even be a problem on boards that arent 50 years old. Overall I am very pleased with this cover!

it fits perfectly and does not move around. also has a really good body to it that makes it easy to iron. simple and it does not stain either.

This cover was very easy to install onto my ironing board. The pad is thick, tough and breathable. The elastic running around the perimeter made for a snug fit and the Velcro straps tightened everything into place. The Velcro straps were a bit long, but that was nothing that a pair of scissors couldnt fix. I have only been using it for a few weeks, but It has been great so far.

This ironing board cover fits standard ironing boards perfectly. Its made with thick, high quality fabric. There are 2 velcro straps to tie down the cover tightly in place. It fits the ironing board snugly. It does not move or shift while ironing. Does a good job of handling heat from the iron.
