The cover comes detached from the rest of the portfolio. There is also damage at the top of the cover and probably the cause of the detachment. Based on looking at the binding area briefly, the area of contact between the cover and the rest of the portfolio is really small. It will probably hold itself together for a few months but even undamaged, should come off naturally with in half a year. That being said, this problem is fixable with some super glue or other kind of binding agent.

I love this portfolio. A nice sturdy plastic cover with easily opened storage pockets. Nothing to keep it closed is my only complaint, but I can do without that

Its a very nice professional portfolio and I could use it for my big drawings that I did. If you have big art pieces, this portfolio is the one.

Bought this for my sons graphic arts class to have for college interviews. It did not come w/ anything free as it says. There is no handle. It serves its purpose.

I am using this to store Rock N Roll poster art, they are perfect for that. They are also great at helping rolled up posters flatten.
