> 3 dayAfter a ton of online research I decided to buy this for makeup airbrushing. I am so glad I did. The small units do not last very long and cost about the same. This system is so well made I am wondering if I will ever need another machine in my lifetime.

> 3 dayVery quiet. Holds line pressure very well, only runs when painting. Easy to control pressure.

> 3 dayI had been reading the reviews that say “you’re just paying more for the Iwata logo”. Well that logo is worth every dollar. It seems like the people that say that are A. Don’t know how to properly take care of the item or B. just too broke to afford it and need a reason to tell themselves they don’t need it are the reason I see those posts. After using the Jet Pro Lite you can easily see that there is huge a difference in quality and performance. Yes, I fell into that trap of trying to save a dollar. I bought one of those no name compressor/tank set ups. Sure it did the basics but once I ponied up and bought the Iwata compressor, it was night and day. This compressor is a work horse and actually has the working pressure it says it has. 1–50 PSI. Not sure why the description says 1-60 but on the Iwata website it correctly states the working pressure. Also you get some of the best customer service and troubleshooting from Iwata head quarters. I have called a few times with random dumb rookie questions and they were beyond helpful. Trust me Iwata knows what they are doing. Why risk wasting one dollar on a compressor made by company that doesn’t know anything about airbrushing just because it’s cheaper? Spend a little more on the front end and you’ll avoid wasting more money trying to fix and or buy another compressor.

Greater than one weekI bought this coming off an Iwata Sprint Jet Id used for about 14 years. Coming from the old to the new is nice, but frankly the features arent super impressive as far as the upgrade, but as a first compressor, you should like this unit. The Smart feature is honestly a little odd for me, as the unit surges while this smart feature kicks on and off. Makes it a little hard when youre looking for exactly 15psi and its constantly wavering between 18-13psi as the smart feature turns on an off. Seems like a poorly designed feature. It would be nice if there was an option to turn it off. It hasnt honestly effected any of my work, but Im aware its happening. The pressure is instant and thats nice, but I wish there was some kind of reserve tank so that the pressure didnt keep wavering. The adjustment knob for the pressure works well compared to the old locking nut adjustment and the metal housing keeps the unit quiet and vibrationally insulated. Biggest gripe is the high price, but still nice.

> 3 dayWow. This thing is a fine piece of equipment. It came highly recommended by the pros. It has no tank, so it just runs when you need pressure. It only runs once in a while with light usage. It can sit sometimes for an hour before turning on to raise the pressure back to my setting. I assumed a tankless compressor would always be running when you turn it on. Not the case here. And when it does turn on, its super quiet!
