A really good read by all standards - very informative and relevant to the subject of finding meaning. Just wondering now, how come I am only chancing on it now. Good stuff. I also recommend one titled “Midnight Philosophies” – a small, but interesting read; here’s a link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0096C3VCW

My son and I use Singapore Primary Math as homeschoolers and it is a great system. It gets right to it and doesnt waste time with too much busy work. They use multiple ways of teaching math concepts so it works for various learning styles. The pictures are simple, but effective. I find it relatively intuitive myself. The only issue we ever really seem to have is very occasionally we will encounter a bit of instruction in the book that doesnt quite seem to make sense to either of us. I suspect this is a translation issue and it is fairly infrequent. Singapore Math doesnt spend tons of time on each concept which may be an issue for some students who might need extra time to really get it. This is why they have extra books at each level for extra practice, so if you have a student who needs that extra work - dont despair. If you dont know where to start, their website has useful placement tests readily available. [...] I would most definitely recommend these books!

This book has the most beautiful pictures of the natural beauty of Newfoundland. I am looking forward to seeing the places I missed on my last few visits!

Simple purchase for a new antenna after my Mohu Leaf stopped working after five years. We use it in our guest bedroom on a 55 inch Sony Bravia XR. Oddly enough, the instructions stated to never put the antenna on its side. However, that is the only way we can pull in long range channels. I refuse to put a satellite receiver in a room we are barely using. This was a reasonably priced choice. In addition, I can pull in the locals without any issues and the picture is clear. We had to short range the amplifier in order to get a clear signal.

James Acaster 2 Books Collection Set :

James Acaster"s Classic Scrapes:
James Acaster has been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award five times and has appeared on prime-time TV shows like TASKMASTER, MOCK THE WEEK, LIVE AT THE APOLLO and WOULD I LIE TO YOU? But behind the fame and critical acclaim is a man perpetually getting into trouble. Whether it"s disappointing a skydiving instructor mid-flight, hiding from thugs in a bush wearing a bright red dress, or annoying the Kettering Board Games club, a didgeridoo-playing conspiracy theorist and some bemused Christians, James is always finding new ways to embarrass himself.Appearing on Josh Widdicombe"s radio show to recount these stories, the feature was christened "James Acaster"s classic scrapes". Here, in his first book, James recounts these tales (including never-before-heard stories) along with self-penned drawings, in all their glorious stupidity.

Perfect Sound Whatever:
PERFECT SOUND WHATEVER is a love letter to the healing power of music, and how one man"s obsessive quest saw him defeat the bullshit of one year with the beauty of another. Because that one man is James Acaster, it also includes tales of befouling himself in a Los Angeles steakhouse, stealing a cookie from Clint Eastwood, and giving drunk, unsolicited pep talks to urinating strangers.James Acaster wakes up heartbroken and alone in New York, his relationship over, a day of disastrous meetings leading him to wonder if comedy is really what he wants to be doing any more.
