> 3 dayIve always recognized the JanSport backpacks as good quality because they are strong, cary heavy books well and repel the water well too. I bought this one here to replace the one that Ive been using since my senior year in high school back in 93 which literally looked worn out and faded from its original navy blue color but still carried books well. The difference in this back pack to the one from 93 is that it has many more extra bags or spaces which I use for my 13 laptop and its power cord, a small speaker, small first aid kit, my reading and sun glasses, small note pads and many pens and markers. Ive only had it for four months but think it will last for years like the one from 1993.

> 3 dayI’ve had this for 4 years and it hasn’t shredded or ripped anywhere. I’m not especially careful with it either. Fits my giant laptop and iPad and still has tons of space. Used for college, travel, flights, anything at all. It’s a go-to.

> 3 dayIf you are looking for a sturdy backpack that I large enough to avoid being too heavy in your back and shoulders (granted you don’t stuff it till it’s busting) and big enough to have space and room for things, then this is for you. It has multiple pockets and compartments making it simple to store notebooks, a laptop, essential items like wallet and keys, etc. The straps are adjustable too. It works great for school!

Greater than one weekThe kid turned 13 and decided that his (still almost like new) LLBean shark-patterned backpack was too babyish. So he got this boring grey backpack, as it is suitably mature for a very-grown-up 13YO. Good capacity. Im unsure of whether the Jansport durability is as great as it was 30 years ago when I was in college, but so far its good.
