This item will do in a pinch. Color is nice but the bottom is not suede and I doubt if it will hold up as genuine suede would. Will keep because I needed something for travel ASAP.

I was afraid this might be too big for my 8 year old but it’s perfect. She still has room to grow with it too.

This is the second one of these backpacks we have bought. Our older son is now a sophomore in HS and we bought him a blue one a year and a half ago. Its a good size - holds a lot without looking bulky. Has enough compartments but not so many that it makes it hard to find things. The main advantage is they last. Their school does not have lockers so they lug 50 lbs of books around all day, every day. The backpack still looks new. We bought this red one for our younger son, now a freshman. Not sure if the leather bottom makes the difference. I remember having a Jansport when I was in HS but didnt remember how long it lasted. Anyway, these may be the only backpacks the kids need to get through HS.

I purchased this style mainly due to its size and water bottle compartment on the outer right side. The Grey Letterman color appears very light in the photos so I was concerned about it showing dirt in no time flat, but is actually much nicer and darker of a grey in person! The leather bottom is thick and appears to be great protection for the beating up backpacks will go through during the school year. I highly recommend!

I got this backpack early before the school semester started, thinking I would have to buy a new one, but I actually did not have to! This backpack is very sturdy, and it is a very pretty color! I think that the backpack is worth the price! Although, the little tassels on the sides where a bit annoying when trying to pull on the zippers, but you can just cut them off and then there is no problem. Overall I really like this backpack and I recommend it!

Sad the money I sent was not on a quality product

The quality is a big concern, plus the price is not cheap at all. This bag can be only used to carry small or light things, and cant hold heavy stuff.
