Those Japanese engineers have done it yet again. a nail clipper that is elegant and works an order of magnitude better and easier than those drug store models. Splurge. You wont regret it.

The nail clipper is ingenuity from the touch to nail clipping is a smooth process. - The feel of the touch of clipper is nice. - The design to reach the end of nail is quite easy. - The mount of pressure to apply when clipping is minimal. - Honestly cant think of anything negative may be other than pricing.

Too large, Better for toe nail trimming not fingers.

If I’m judging the performance of this clipper, it is a five star product. I have a couple of other clippers from this company and they will change your life compared to old, dull, poorly engineered drugstore nail clippers. BUT! This listing specifically claims these clippers are compact and portable and great to carry around for those little moments when a fingernail needs attention. Forget that, folks. On the right in my photo is the oldish, dullish compact fingernail clipper I keep in my purse, which I intended to replace with this product. On the left is the product. Not compact at all. In fact, this clipper is larger than most domestic toenail clippers. And it’s wide and heavy. Those characteristics may actually be part of why it performs so well, but carrying it in my small handbag isn’t going to work. I wish they made a truly compact fingernail clipper; if I could find one I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Its a great size and easy to use. The quality is amazing, especially that nail filer. Slighty expensive? Definitely. But once you start using it you can instantly tell this is a great long term purchase so I highly recommend getting this.

Wow cuts my big thick nails like butter. Rather large size which is good for my big hands and nails. Can’t believe I’ve been using .99 cent clippers all these years, will never go back to that.

First time buying a nail clippers this expensive. I got this because “made in Japan”, which made me think “Quality” and “Precision” Nice and heavy finish, cuts well and feel good to hold. Only complain is it makes a clicky noise between lever and cutting part, which is annoying and missing cutting pressure. After readjust lever, it goes away. Happens to me every time I cut my nails. Maybe stick to regular $5 clipper, which served me well for years…
