> 3 dayDo not buy certified refurbished products, they have zero warranty through JBL Buy new, not worth the risk. It may be alright for a little while, but there is a reason it was returned. Buyer beware, I was burned on one.

> 3 dayDo not buy this speaker, it contains the type of lithium ion battery that can burn up & explode. I tried several times to contact JBL, and the selling company prime Deal about the battery not holding a charge for more than an hour after the first few months. Their reply was that it was out of warranty, and they wouldnt even suggest a service center to get a new battery. I then tried to take it to a local battery warehouse store, and that is when the manager told me about the battery is the same type of 10k milliamp battery that the e-cigarette use. He then went on to say that their chain has since stop carrying that style of battery do do liability issues. I am going to be contacting Amazon and perusing a refund, as that they are selling a dangerous item.

> 3 dayI got delivery of the JBL speaker about a week ago, all seemed well. Nice packaging included charging cable and strap. After two sessions of use lasting 2 hour in total, battery went from 4/5 charge lights to dead. Tried charging the speaker but would not charge past 4/5 charge lights. Tried charging from a different outlet and kept getting same results. Turned speaker on to use again but this time charge only lasted an hour before the speaker disconnected and shut off. Tried charging the speaker again and only got one blinking charge light over a 3 hour charge time. Returning speaker and ordered replacement...i will post update.

> 3 dayJust got this last month and I took it out for a bbq in Chicago and ofcourse, it was a really windy chilly day but the whole time we were there the music sounded crispy clear and the bass was definitely pounding. I believe the volume wasnt even half way and was still getting good sound. I also remember it had full charge before the bbq and the next day I checked the battery levels and it was still ducking full. Music started playing around 6pm and stopped around 11pm. Im ducking glad I went with this instead of the Bose.
