> 3 dayBought this a I had 12 holes to drill in 1/2” drywall to install surface mount LED’s. On 1st hole the bit snapped and damaged my ceiling as it skipped across the ceiling. I sent it back and used a hand drywall saw instead. Wonder what would have happened if I attempted to cut plywood. They did refund me my money.

> 3 dayI bought this hole saw to use for the construction of some washer boards. It cut all the holes very clean and worked great. I have not used it on metal yet but on the plywood it cut it like it was butter.

> 3 dayFirst.. Dont expect the parts to be compatible with your current hole saw set up. My others are mix and match; this one is different. But it does come with all the parts needed to put it into surface. . Second... I dont plan on many cuts, most will be in drywall. It should be fine for that purpose. You will have to provide your own dust protection or cleanup after words. 6 makes some drywall dust. . Third.... It worked perfect for the LED flush mount lights I bought here on amazon. I didnt worry about a dust catcher since I was in process for other things in the room.

> 3 dayThere are a lot of review that say the blade dulled after one cut, or the threads stripped, etc. I had none of those issues. I bought this to drill holes in my RV floor, which is 3/4 plywood. Four successful holes later, its still pretty sharp and totally usable for future projects. You do have to watch when you stop the drill that if the saw is in free space, inertia will keep it spinning and it will unscrew from the arbor. After I cut a few holes, it was firmly screwed down to where I cant even unscrew it anymore, so the unscrewing was a temporary problem for me. I guess because I was expecting something unusable, I am really pleased with how it worked. Not for cutting metal for sure, but if you just want a few holes in plywood or sheetrock, this is a great cheap alternative.

> 3 dayI wouldnt recommend this product. This is heavy metal saw but doesnt do the job. Shank is too short for two of my drills and also slips (danger).
