The quality of this kit is great. And the cost is just right for what you get. This item was a gift and she loved it.

I would give this five stars but for the embellishment beads. It took me only a few hours to cross stich this wonderful pattern and DAYS to do the beading. Threading the needle for the beads was the absolute worst. That said the colors are rich, the pattern super easy to follow, and will easily become a keep sake.

I did buy all three of the Jim Shore snowman ornaments. I am a Jim Shore fan and really like his designs. Also, I love making counted cross stitch Christmas ornaments. So obviously I couldnt pass these up. The chart is a little small, but you can always make an enlarged copy. I always make an extra copy anyway so I can pencil off the sections as I do them. I find this helpful. Plenty of beads for embellishment too. I probably wont even use all of the beads, but thats just my taste. I am sure others will be delighted to have them all. Takes a little patience to put them on though - they are small. Over all though, this is just a fun project resulting in a delightful finished ornament.

This was fun to stitch. I will use it as an ornament next year. Mill Hill always gives you plenty of supplies to complete the design.

Absolutely beautiful! Instead of using 3 strands I used 4. This way I was able to thread the bead with two strands and then double the cross stitch for a total of four strands.
