05-06-2025I got this for a Christmas present. I set it up after my son broke his hip and had to sleep on the couch. With this strip, he could power the light on and off via Google or Alexa. Set up was fairly straightforward. Connecting to the network was a breeze, as was Alexa and Google finding it. Naming the individual plugs allows for more granular control of your devices, if one so chooses. If you have alexa or google home installed, this is a logical next step to building out your smart home.

> 3 dayThis worked great for about a month and then it started going haywire. I tried to get a replacement or exchange it, but I never heard back from the seller. Save your money. That’s nearly $30 wasted on a piece of junk.

> 3 dayI have 3 of these. Integrated with Google home and alexa. I currently have them attached to an ac unit, a heater, lights, and some other things in a my work space in a insulated shed. Giving me hands free control of lights as well as automatically controlling the heating and cooling based of local conditions.

> 3 dayI’ve had this about a week and love it for Christmas lights. Works well in the app and with Alexa. We are using it for a window scene for the holidays.

> 3 dayBought this because I was tired of turning monitors, coffee warmer, desk lamp on and off every day. Now I can put an automated schedule in place to do this for me, plus manually control the process on the phone if work needs me after hours.

> 3 dayI love the smart strip concept. We purchased it on December 14, 2021. It worked great at first, but after about six months began having difficulty connecting to the internet and required multiple reboots to make a connections until it stopped working completely. Today it functions only as a switch. We use it to turn the lights and the stereo on and off manually. Its a really expensive on-off switch.

> 3 dayDisappointed because the actual item was exactly what I needed. A smart plug with a long cord. However when I downloaded the apple app it asked for some strange permissions. Allow connections to all Bluetooth items being one of them. I thought it was weird but I agreed. I later sat down to link it with my Alexa so I could have her control my power strip. That’s when I got this warning. The strip won’t show up at all on my Alexa plugs. I HAVE to install this skill to get it to work. Through further investigation I found out they sell multiple smart plugs under different names. All the same app. Smart Link. DO NOT BUY THIS! It is data mining. Even deleting my account it was strange and I had to submit a code via my email. I am concerned with what they already got from me thinking this was a legit company. I’m going back to Kasa/TP link which I have used for years. Never had any issue trusting them!! Disappointed that my option for a refund is to return this item and allow them to have product to fool someone else. Please do not get this or any smart plug on here that requires smart link app! I’m shocked when I searched for smart plugs again on here the majority have the same app.
