Stage area is pretty small but rack and pinion focusing is smooth and functional.

The lower powers give good images of small insects and Arthropoda. Higher magnification is tricky. The depth of field is severely reduced (as expected). An object that is only 1/2 mm thick can not be in sharp focus on both the near and the far sides simultaneously.

I had purchased a USB microscope /camera and it came with a plastic stand that after about a week started to have issues. Bought this stand to replace the plastic one and love it. Easy to assemble and operate. Very sturdy and stays in place.

That headline pretty much sums it up. The quality of materials and manufacture are excelant as well. In all candor this makes the stand included with the Jiusion Microscope while well made was extremely fiddley and made it virtually impossible to maintain optical alignment. When I saw this I placed an order immediately and it cured ALL of the short comings of the one supplied with the microscope. The case has proven its worth since the delivery driver tried his best to destroy it in transit. Amazon chose to ship it in a soft shipping package rather than their normal cardboard box and the Jiusion case was slightly damaged but it proteacted the stand admirably. The case is also well designed and holds the stand & microscope perfectly. In summation the product is, as noted, outstanding. Amazon shipping normally is great but they dropped the ball this time.

A firm support that is convenient to use, supports the microscope stably and is smooth to adjust. A pleasure to use, the mount can hold the microscope over the platform to study small objects, or beside it to examine surface features of larger objects. The rack & pinion vertical adjustment has a more than adequate range and the smoothness of operation is normally encountered only on much more expensive instruments.

Like the stand to mount my digital microscope for checking out and viewing for coins for error and date. It give you good base to slide the coins on and holds the microscope in the correct distance from the object.

Although the stand that came with my Jiusion microscope was fine, I wanted a stand that I could adjust higher for bulkier items. This holder worked perfectly. The little legs on the bottom keep it stable on my table and I like that it can be adjusted easily. I should have ordered this when I first ordered the microscope. Its better than I expected. Im highly satisfied.
