This stand is a very high quality stand that really improves the usefulness of the small digital microscopes. I bought a WiFi model (recommended) and this stand makes it very easy to get a clear image. The adjustment knob is as good as any high quality microscope I have used and the friction is adjustable and very smooth. It changes a toy (using the included stand that came with the microscope) into a nearly professional microscope. Now if I could get the Max-see app (that came with my microscope) to take a picture on demand, I would have a perfect low cost digital microscope.

This is an all metal stand with enough weight to keep everything upright on a table. It is attractive because of the aluminum like metal. And, the adjustment stand has a lot of length so it should be very versatile.

I have tried a few of the inexpensive digital microscopes available from Celestron etc. While the scopes themselves are pretty good considering the price, the stands have always been problematical. They dont support the unit well and trying to focus is a real chore. This stand holds the scope securely and makes it easy to focus so using the microscope becomes a pleasure rather than a chore.

There could be more tension in the height adjustment

This stand works much better than the cheap plastic stand (which Ive already broken) that was included with my wifi microscope. I put items to view in a petri disk on the base and it works like a charm. Very happy with the purchase.

I needed this device for my microscope camera to allow me to more easily adjust the focus in small increments. This device is the answer to my need.
