> 3 dayThis is a great shampoo for kids. Ive had a hard time finding a shampoo that wasnt combined with conditioner, and also did a good job of cleaning. This works great on my curly haired 6 year old and my sensitive skin 4 year old. I like that its tear free but gives a good, deep clean. I pair with a good, deep adult conditioner.

> 3 dayI work with covid positive patients all day at work. As soon as I come home, I shower. Before the pandemic, I washed my hair once or twice a week. My hair is dry and fine with 3B curls. I have a very sensitive scalp that tends to break out with harsh surfactants. Most of my hair is unprocessed, but I have one streak that is lightened and I use semi-permanent fun colors on it. Washing my hair daily with my usual shampoo was leaving my scalp parched and itchy. It was stripping the color out of my hair really fast. And my hair was frizzy and damaged. So, I decided to try baby shampoo, thinking it would be more gentle. I’ve used about half of the bottle and I am so glad I made the switch. My scalp feels okay, no itchiness or sore spots. My hair is clean without being stripped. The color in my streak still fades, but I think that’s unavoidable with any kind of daily washing. If you’re looking for something gentle for dry hair, this is a good choice, especially for frequent washing.

> 3 day3/5 stars because the fragrance is so overpowering. Of course this is subjective, but I just feel it’s too strong and “cheap” smelling, similar to the smell of a dollar store or Pert Plus. It’s tolerable when it wears off, but sometimes gives me a headache while washing the kids. We switched from a Shea Butter shampoo to J&J because the reviews mentioned it gave their kids soft, healthy hair. I do agree with this; the girls hair is soft, fluffy, and healthy looking. It lathers well, and feels like it is moisturizing their hair during these dry winter months. When air dried or blow dried, the hair comes out thick and soft, very nice. It has gotten in their eyes a few times, with no tears and no fuss, which is also a positive. The bottle could be designed better, it’s slippery in the hands and the cap is tough to open at times. If J&J made a fragrance free version of this, I would probably buy it for life and give it 5/5 stars.

> 3 dayI bought this for my 4 year old daughter who has thick hair but isn’t ready for regular shampoo. It smells great, is tear free, and leaves her hair soft and manageable. This is a perfect transitional shampoo from baby shampoo when kids aren’t ready for regular shampoo.
