very thin i thought the ad said 2.9mil not that for sure

One of the bullet points in the About this item section of the listing says these are 3.15 mil thick. Im not sure why 3.15 and not 3mil but whatever... these arent anywhere close to that! I usually buy 1,000 qty 2mil thick 4x6 poly bags on Amazon but ended up coming across this listing. Same quantity and thicker bags for a couple dollars cheaper than the bags I usually buy? Heck yeah, why not right? Well, the only thing good about these bags as that you save a couple dollars but it ends there. These bags are so much thinner than the usual 2 mil bags I buy. I mean... its NOTICEABLY thinner. Then theres the fact the bags vary in sizes -- MOST are not 4x6. They vary in sizes with most being slightly larger than 4 x , some smaller, some bigger. The real kicker is that a bunch of the bags are not perfectly rectangular... some are so bad looking, I cant explain how bad the quality control is. Im including a photo of what I mean.... The fact that the corner arent square on many of the bags is what compelled me to write this review in the first place. Moreover, the bags are noticeably more wrinkly than the usual 2mi 4x6 poly bags I buy probably because theyre so thin. I would not recommend these bags for anything other than a few small pieces of paper but seriously, spend the extra couple dollars for quality 2 mil bags.

Get what you pay for 1000 bags. bags tear when you try to open and if lucky to not destroy bag then wont zip seal properly.

Good for packing small items.

Im very disappointed with these bags. I expected better quality based on the reviews. They seem much thinner than 3 mils and the seals are difficult, to impossible, to close.

These bags are very light weight plastic. My caliper measures 3 mil for the outside of the bag, face to face, so material thickness is 1.5 mil, not 3 mil.

I will be returning these. There are 2 different sizes in the box and most are the smaller size which does NOT fit the patterns in that I bought this for. Horrible product. From zipper to thickness. Nothing listed in this listing is correct

This is not a 3.5 mil bag. Made from very very poor quality material and quantity is also not 1000.
