> 3 dayI misread the description and didn’t realize I was getting a monitor sized for a small MacBook. I have a 16” Windows based laptop. The good news is that it doesn’t just work on MacBooks. The monitor comes with a base plate that can be attached to the back of your laptop screen so that it becomes part of your laptop. It connects via a USB-C connection and is easy to connect and disconnect. There is a USB-C cord built in so that you don’t have a long cord to worry about when it is installed on your laptop. There is also a magnetic metal cover plate to protect the screen from damage during transport when closed. I didn’t want the screen permanently affixed to my laptop, so I use it as a separate unit. I use a regular USB-C to USB-C cable to connect as I need a little more distance than the built in one provides. This cable came with the monitor as well. I actually use the monitor in a portrait orientation with the baseplate as a base on the table next to my laptop. It works perfectly for my needs. The display size is only 6” x 10.25”, though, because of the size I ordered. Next time I’d get a larger one if possible. The monitor gets its power from the laptop so there are no other power supplies needed. The monitor has a built in speaker that can also be used for your audio output. Now for the display. The monitor has a matte anti-glare display. I’m used to a glossy high-resolution screen, so the matte display is not my favorite. The display colors are not as true either. The gray shows up with a pinkish hue unless you turn the brightness up and then it’s almost blue. There is a single wheel control for all of the settings. If you push it, a menu will come up that lets you adjust brightness, contrast, color, and a myriad of other settings through pushing and scrolling. There is even a low blue light setting, but that makes the display very yellow. I haven’t figured out the best mix of red, green, and blue to give me the white background that I want, but since I only use the monitor for text (mainly spreadsheets) I’m not as worried about the color.

> 3 dayIts an amazing portable monitor exclusive for MacBook users. I was shocked by how nice the packaging box is at the beginning. I have purchased an external monitor last year and using on my MacBook, it’s not very stable on my MacBook. I found this product seems like exclusive for MacBook. The material is amazing, a very good-looking product and way better then my pervious one. The most satisficed purchase this year.

> 3 dayThe resolution was garbage, it was like having a 90s flip phone resolution on my mac. Too heavy, anything more than a slight angle and the screen would fall back and it has no kickstand. Could not pivot enough to be useful in any direction. The only thing I could see this for is using it as a training device on the back of a laptop if someone was sitting across from you. It did fit and stay on my mac well, that much I can say. I will stick with my iPad and my Mountie clamp. It was worth a shot.

> 3 dayIll start by stating that I do not own a macbook. I got this knowing that it may not fit on my laptop perfectly, but also wanted to use it with my phone. the screen does not work at all with my HP laptop, because no all USB-C ports support video out. This is not the fault of this device, rather that of vague specifications and lack of standards. ive conneted this to several dell laptops at work, as well as my samsung chromebook, all of which seem to work great. i connected it to my phone (Galaxy s21 ultra) and it poped right up. this screen has a short, built in cable at the bottom so that you can use the port on the side for an additional power source. this does not work on my phone. i have to plug the single cable from my phone into the side port. this means that there is no way to charge the phone while using it, which is a shame. the picture quality is good and the screen seems to be responsive. the case itself seems well made. im planning on keeping this in my vehicle, along with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse so that I can use my phone like a pc when i need a little more screen area.

> 3 dayA good external monitor for travelers, fit into my backpack and laptop bag very well since it is very slim. A little heavy because it made of metal material, but the quality is solid. Great display quality and easy to carry. Overall, it’s a decent investment for Mac users.

Greater than one weekVery slim and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around in my laptop bag. It also comes with a protective cover that can also use a mouse pad. The cover is magnetic which makes it easy to take off. Easy connection, only one USB C cable needed.
