the picture color is VERY bad, software does not have auto features for the color so this thing is useless until they fix their software, returned and purchased a CZAR

Very low tech. . .but gets the job done and saves a fortune on text books so you can just rent and return!

The item comes in handy significantly for my work and objective, fast scanning, easy to use, pretty good quality, excellent design.

Auto flatten functionality did not work for sheet music. Did nothing to the page that wasnt flat distorted a page that was already flat. The support email address included with the product is invalid.

Scanned papers does not even look like more than 2MP camera picutres. Moreover if the book is big in thickness, the flattening software does not flat well. So much hassell to go through for scanning a think book.

This is probably the best document scanner I’ve ever used. It’s durable and the build quality is top notch. The camera is very clear and high quality as well. I will be recommending this to my friends!

This may work fine for a document camera, but it is useless for scanning books. Software has very few options, and is difficult to figure out how to use. The documentation is laughable and in broken English. The default flattening and fingerprint removal distort the book pages and block out whole sections of the text - and theres no way to turn them off! Dont waste your money.

I found out that you have a website and I downloaded the newer version of the software and installed it. The software interface looks better, and the OCR works a lot better.

I had made a holder for my phone so I could do this same thing I was hoping it could error correct for lense distortion so I could use it as a 2d sheet metal scanner. But cameras are off on parts bigger then like 3by3 I was hoping to scan parts and adjust the picture like with book flattening but that was a no-go. Id does need a lot of light I found other than it not working for me it works good and quick for books v
