On carpet these work great and don’t move. On tile or brick or any other surface the three tiny rubber dots are basically useless and they slide around easily. That could make them a little dangerous as my husband fears, but to me could also teach your little ones to be more cautious with their footing, as though they’re hopping on actual rocks that might move in a stream. Over all I love these things, and I do wish they had a little more grip.

We purchased these for my sons third birthday and for our 6 year old daughter to share with him during rainy days or fun outside in the grass since we have zero fun rocks to jump from lol. I’ve only just bought these so I know not how long they hold up to kids wear and tear. But they look sturdy. while they are impressively strong (as they held my 240 pounds for a few seconds) they are just plastic hollow structures with three almost not quite half inch pieces of small rubber to keep it from sliding. I thought for sur it would have three inches on every side but nope. So far no trouble on our patio. We started playing with them outside with a shoe on but my two year olds foot slid off because it is a slick plastic with little to no friction. Their bare feet were ok but they didn’t feel safe on them due to sliding off , so they started coloring them and filling the underside with dirt. Sad considering they are SO pricey! I wouldn’t recommend socks either but the kind with robbers on the bottom of the sick might help. I will encourage them to do that. I would not recommend them because they should be a little more than half the price they are. Most of my friends would not even pay that for just plastic pieces. If they were solid rubber they might. Anyway, we shall see! Oh and the tallest one goes about three inches above my ankle bone. It’s a decent height.

Not as well grounded as I would like it to be on the floor. My son slips on it often. I think if you do purchase it you need to supervise and also put in a safe around and not near any furniture or anything that could be dangerous. I would surround kids mats with it to be on the safe side.

I really want to love these stepping stones. Theyre made of hard plastic that feels durable. The three sizes offer enough variety for my kids. The price was easier to swallow than some other brands, but they slide all over my hardwood floors. Turning them on their side I can see that the plastic is bowed, so that the sides are resting on the floor. This renders the rubber pegs useless. Im really disappointed because it severely limits where we can use these.

We were surprised with how sturdy and versatile these jumping stones are. They are great for outdoors or indoors (placed strategically down the hallway for our energetic son to get some wiggles out). Although we thought they were a bit pricey when we first bought them, we now see that you get what you pay for- a good quality toy. I highly recommend!

The small rubber dot in each corner of the stones (see picture) was not enough to keep them from sliding on my floors as my kids tried to step from one stone to another. Also one of the medium sized stones was a bit warped and did not sit flat on the ground so it was wobbly in addition to sliding around. Because of the stones tendency to slide around I a, going to be returning this set. We got this set to Supplment another set by a different manufacturer that we purchased that has a rubber gasket all along the bottom edge of the stone. This set does not slip at all on our floors.

These stepping stones were an instant hit with grandchildren ages 3-7. Older kids would like them as well. There are no rules, thus no learning curve and no frustrated children. Kids can invent their own games. Well built, sturdy and suitable for use inside or out. Plus, they stack inside each other so they are easy to store.

Super fun addition to our play room. We were really pleased with the quality especially because they seemed a little pricey. They are absolutely worth it! The kids love playing on them and I love that they’re stackable so they easily get put away.

So I bought these for my two year old who likes to climb things and I didn’t realize how hard they were. Literally something as small as stubbing your toe on one will all but bring you to tears. Also they are easily movable so he picks them up and moves them to where ever he wants so basically he wrecks havac everywhere!
