K-Edge Wahoo Bolt Mount

> 3 dayThe Wahoo Element is too large and you are unable to twist it to lock the mount given its size. Q&A said it was compatible, but if you look at the picture, the lower corner is unable to clear the mount itself to lock in completely.

> 3 dayGreat quality. I use it for mounting my light below a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. A bit pricy but worth it if you can afford it.

> 3 dayI’m an engineer and so much about this design is good, but a couple things are really poor design features. The biggest is undersized fasteners and poor fatigue details. Get ready to fight fasteners backing off, the thing coming loose, and stripped heads from trying to tighten them so they won’t back off. I thought paying a premium would get quality but in this case it does not. It’s close but no cigar. Invest in lock tire and constantly torque may help.

Greater than one weekThe K-Edge Wahoo Bolt mount fits my road bike handlebars perfectly and is aesthetically pleasing. The clip in part of the mount is the same blue colour as the writing on the Bolt. Overall a very high-quality mount.

> 3 dayThis mount has an unnecessary joint held by 2 screws which void the warranty if removed. I bought this expensive mount to use with my Bolt and Cycliq Fly12 CE. After about 3 dozen rides, where it worked perfectly, my computer/camera got all wobbly. Upon inspection, one of the joint bolts had completely vibrated out and the remaining bolt was loose and also ready to disappear. K-edge would not honor their lifetime warranty as they said my camera voided their warranty - which is true if you go to the K-edge website and read the fine print. I bought a lighter unit with the same functionality, solid mount arm with no joint to fail, and even a little more compact and better looking directly from KOM Cycling for $25. Do not even consider K-edge if you have a Fly12 or anything other than a very light camera that might put less torque on the unnecessary extra joint. A very poor design. It looks like most of their other mounts also have this unnecessary joint. At double the price of other mounts, they should be able to afford a single mounting arm without the joint.

> 3 dayBought K-edge to mount light away from handlebars. This works great with my light and was easy to install. I had to purchase go-pro type mount separately from Light & Motion. The setup is Light & Motion Urban model light, mount, K-edge, and Wahoo Element Bolt.

> 3 dayThis is a well built, solid mount but returned it since its not aero and would waste any aero advantage otherwise gained from using the wahoo bolt. K edge does have a much more expensive version thats aero. I ended up using the $20 plastic one by wahoo which is perfectly aero and designed to work better with the bolt in my opinion. With that said this will work perfectly for you if you dont care about the aero advantage.
