I purchased the K2 Skate for my eight year-old daughter. We had recently purchased a similar pair of skates from another store, but they hurt her feet terribly. I really wanted her to skate with me, so I searched around for something that looked similar to the quality of an adult skate, comfortable, adjustable, and that provided plenty of support. The K2 Skate delivered on all. Very high quality! I was skeptical to purchase because of so few reviews, so I researched the manufacturer website prior to purchasing through Amazon. Purchasing through Amazon just made it easier. We will buy K2 again when she grows out of these skates, which will be a while, because they are adjustable. They fit true to size...she fit a size four, and sure enough, size four fits best. These are very durable and provide plenty of support, just like an adult skate. I highly recommend this brand, and specifically, this skate model.
