I was looking for a stand for my surface book screen to use in the kitchen for recipes. This stand is made for Surface tablets and holds it perfectly. Very sturdy. No worries on protecting a Surface tablet.

Firstly Im amused that this came in a pseudo-velvet bag and it is insanely sturdy and feels indestructible. The real downside is this thing is stiff as all heck and I had to really wrestle with it to get it to the perfect angle I wanted. It could really benefit from some oil or lubricant..

This is a good device with stability when used on a couch. This is the second type I have bought recently, the first was narrower and required steadying to keep it upright. I recommend this one.

This item is just what I needed to hold my ipad at eye level for participation and presenting on zoom meetings. It is very sturdy. Once you get it into the position that you want it stays there. I love how many positions that you can adjust it to. I liked it so much that I turned around and bought one for my daughter in law for her birthday. She said now her kids fight over who is going to use it next.

I have been using this with the clipboard from my surface book 2, an ipad pro, and my toddler uses it for her ipad and toys. It is sturdy and easy to use. Also, the joints are strong and do not move on their own. The only problems are (1) with bigger tablets (the surface book is15in) that they can tip out if pushed too far and (2) it takes a bit of force to adjust it so its better to take the tablet off when adjusting the angle.
