This is the first silicon mat Ive used to solder on. Works really well for my needs and the actual size is perfect for where Im at most frequently. I love the way it rolls up and can be stored away neatly. I cant think of a single negative since it functions as expected and described. I hope it wears well considering I started using ~3 times per week. I recommend it and would buy again (or larger size for variety).

This is awesome Im using it for something totally differnet but because you can clean it easy and it can take high heat temperate the uses for this are endless.

First off this mat is used to repair guns, mechanical parts etc. Nice bright color so parts stand out. soft silicon washable roll able and well made. I did not like the two closable lids on the left most compartments, so I cut them off! Now I have the perfect repair mat.

Worked for my husbands watch repairing activities. Lots of areas to put little tools and parts.

I purchased this for cutting mesh with a wood burner knife, it has not melted, or damage in anyway, I just wish that it didnt have any of the grooves on it so I had an more of a flat surface to work with, I love that it has measurements on the edges. I mostly use the back of this so I have an entire flat surface for cutting, I think I would order a bigger one so i have more cutting space, but over all this works as intended.

It good product but missing the cable for grounding. You can’t use proper this item.

I should have bought one of these mats years ago. No more soldering iron burns on the bench. No more flux mess or solder stuck to the bench. This thing is definitely heat resistant as I was able to solder a wire in a connector with it sitting directly on the mat. No burns no smell and the dried flux just pops right off. A quick shake in the trash can and a rinse in the sink and its as good as new. The compartments and magnets are handy for storing screws from the project Im working on and I can see how having the individual numbered locations will be handy for repairs where there a lots of different size screws. Great addition to the bench.
