Edit - The mat has been so useful I just ordered three more to expand my work areas. Theyre also great for crafters making jewelry or small art projects. I wish Id bought one of these long ago. Excellent quality mat, good size. Resists burns from soldering iron. Lots of little cubby holes to keep parts from getting scattered around. Highly recommended.

WOW, what a great product this is. All of the slots are numbered or have some type of identification in them. There is a couple of magnets inside the pad that hold different items. The pad is very heat resistant and it protects our kitchen table that is underneath the pad.

Got this mat because I do a little Model Making and the Silicone mat is good to work over so that if I drop a part it does not fall on the hard work surface and bounce into nowhere. If I need to move it, it easily rolls up and is out of the way. So far this mat works pretty well and Im happy with it.

Love it for my work desk when during soldering need

Perfect for keeping organized no matter the project size weather it’s a simple battery or screen replacement to doing a whole tear down to replace the entire phone housing and soldering new sensors and parts to new flex cables

I got the workbench mat and looks pretty cool. It comes rolled up and though it says it doesn’t come deformed, mine was deformed pretty bad. Parts tray walls were bent from the rolling and hope it gets to some level of normal structure. Also, the photo shows that the letters are mirrored where it says Tray A B and C. All three letters are mirrored so I don’t know if their mold is incorrect or some major mishap of what letters should look like. One other thing to note is that this is not an ESD mat. I have a static detection and discharge tool and this thing creates dangerous static that can damage sensitive components. My advice, buy a static detection and discharge tool though it does not come cheap or you may end up damaging sensitive components. Other than those issues… All in all, the mat is nice, the included tools are nice, and based on the material it should last at least a year of daily work on it. I do like the fact this takes a beating with a hot soldering iron though only up to 500° according to the description on Amazon. I take 2 stars off on the review, 1 for the major deformities in the tray from rolling for shipping purposes and the letters being mirrored, and 1 star off for not being an ESD mat and it can be very staticky which can be fatal for sensitive parts.
