Got this for notebook & phone repair. Its a nice surface. The magnetic strips are great for holding screws & tools the pattern screw holder is awesome. Just drop the screws in the pattern removed. Made it very easy to reassemble the phone.

I use this for working on my 1/24 scale RC car. It’s great for putting small parts and screws in the dividers.

This is fantastic. Bought it for husband and his electronics hobbies but I think it would be neat for crafting too. So many partitions and a nice since for a work area.

I purchased this workstation organizer/soldering mat as a way of keeping parts from rolling away and everything a little neater. It looks great, has plenty of compartments and even has compartments that are magnetized for keeping screws and small parts in place until needed. i touched a hot iron to the mat and it didnt burn which was impressive. A fantastic addition to a workstation area!

This is the first mat like this that Ive ever owned or used. Its fantastic, and Im upset that I didnt have one of these sooner than I did! The little organizing features are great, and I didnt even realize until I got it that id had magnets in some places to hold screws...awesome! One thing I just learned, though, is that you definitely shouldnt stick silly putty to it! A trick I learned a long time ago from some older engineers was to use silly putty to hold a circuit board in place while soldering components. Ive been doing this with regular static mats for a long time. However, the material that this mat is made from REALLY likes to hold onto the silly putty...it makes a bit of a mess. However, a quick Google search told me to use alcohol to remove, and that works great.

Got this mat because I do a little Model Making and the Silicone mat is good to work over so that if I drop a part it does not fall on the hard work surface and bounce into nowhere. If I need to move it, it easily rolls up and is out of the way. So far this mat works pretty well and Im happy with it.

Ive been tinkering and repairing devices with small parts/screws for a good number of years. If I remembered and wasnt in a hurry, Id typically use a towel to work over to avoid the cursed parts bounce to the floor. If the floor had a rug or carpet on it, and the parts were small, itd become a drawn-out affair trying to find it. This mat came to me rolled up, but flattened out nicely. I like the options for tool and parts storage/organizing while working. I definitely recommend this mat for anyone working on items where you are needing to keep track of parts either for replacement or just to keep from losing them.
