I have both OXO and the Pottete. So, I guess I received the newest version of the Pottete and this insert, and not what is in the picture. It doesn’t have the curls or the slits, so it lays flat on the sides. There’s a little bubble on the back part of the seat when it’s on the OXO since the Pottete has a mound on both front and back. The OXO has a mound on the front only. Anyway, this sinks in if sat on and doesn’t give my Tot any issues. The insert has a mound that protrudes more on one side than the other side. The Pottete potty doesn’t fill this area, but the OXO mound fills it. So, It fits well on both, but you’d need to use both hands to hold it when it’s full or it will spill. I think the curves on the original version gave more structure, but I think this new version works better for the OXO. Holding it from the larger mound section might be the place to hold it with one hand. I haven’t used it for poop, so I don’t know if a super huge poop would pull it down from and off from the back of the OXO once your little gets off of it (since the Pottete holds it up with the two front and back mounds and the OXO only has one mound). The material seems to grip it in place really well when I apply a lot of pressure and keeps it shape once I am able to push it down to touch the floor, so I honestly don’t t think it will ever be an issue. It took a lot of pressure for it to lose its grip. I guess, just make sure it’s dry under there to maintain the grip? (I really don’t know how someone else had this problem). Overall, I like it and I think it works great for both Pottete and OXO. They really should update the picture on here, though.

It is super easy to use and really convenient that it can fold up. It is mostly just used in the house though. The only issue that we have had is that after a while it starts to hold onto the poop smell, even though we immediately clean it every time it is used. We now just sprinkle baking soda over it after every poop and that has helped to minimize the smell that stays.

Lots of love for this thing. We travel constantly, sometimes for weeks at a time. For extended stays away from home, this liner is the way to go! I literally bought 5 different travel potty options before deciding on the combination of the Potette and reusable liner. My child loves it. Before this we were using the OXO travel potty with plastic bags. On longer trips it is so hard to keep up with sheer number of bags you need. Plus if you buy the OXO bags (which work so much better than normal plastic bags) you end up spending more on bags than you would on a new potty. Also---there is just no good way to dispose of a used potty bag. This liner saves money, eliminates the need for wasteful disposable bags, and packs easily in my luggage.

I traveled to Asia with my 4 yo girl, and was skeptical about using Public restroom. After long research in Amazon, I purchased this set, used it extensively in international flights, rest rooms,during road trip . A god sent product, keeps you tension free about hygiene for your kid. Super easy to clean , i used to clean it with soap and water after each use, dry up , fold the stand and container and put inside the cute little plastic bag that it comes with. I am super satisfied with this product.
