Great piece of software, with Kali live there is no need to partition the drive. But for a dedicated person, creating a dedicated machine, it is just as easy with this software. As a student I have enjoyed having this copy of Kali Linux.

From the creators of BackTrack comes Kali Linux, the most advanced and versatile penetration testing distribution ever created. BackTrack has grown far beyond its humble roots as a live CD and has now become a full-fledged operating system.

Kali is a Linux-based penetration testing arsenal that aids security professionals in the ability to perform assessments in a purely native environment dedicated to hacking. Useful for security professionals, those who wish to learn the "hackers art" or anyone who would like to beef up their own wireless security, Backtrack is the best bet to get things done.

Please Note - This software does not run from within any existing installation - It is designed to boot and run directly from the DVD. This means it will -not- run within Windows. This -self-booting- DVD runs independent from any installed operating system, and will require you restart your system with the DVD inserted. Once you are done, simply remove the DVD and restart your system to boot back into your Windows or Linux O/S.
