These scissors were recommended to me for intricate fabric cutting for a collage quilt design. I make sure to use the point protector for the scissors when I finish cutting fabrics.

I even clipped a skin tag with them next to my eye (after thoroughly sanitizing them before and after) with no problems (dermatology wait of six weeks). Great for applique.
